Adrien Houguet, lecturer from AIU, participated at the conference in Almaty, which was organized by ESCAS on behalf of the University the Ifeac Bichkek. He presented his research projects on the soft power of different countries in central Asia and the project of the Franco-German Cultural Institute (ICFA/DFKI) in Bishkek at the conference at Institute Sorbonne-Kazakhstan. He also moderated a panel on "China seen from Central Asia" at the Al-Farabi KazNU and attended interesting panels at the Deutsch-Kasachische Universität (DKU). The events were interactive and effective, and provided opportunities to further potential cooperation and friendship between institutions.
