Artificial intelligence is stepping forward, opening up new opportunities for us. Machines are getting smarter, have learned to learn by themselves and even show creativity. This is the future where technology makes our lives easier and more interesting.

On October 4, 2023, a seminar on “New trends in artificial intelligence” was held in AIU together with Arjunaditya Kundu, an engineer in the field of nanotechnology at the University of Waterloo, Canada. The seminar was held in a hybrid online-offline format, where students and lecturers participated.

“If we can use AI for our benefit, then we will be successful leaders in the future” the speaker noted. The expert spoke about how a person can use AI technology for their own good, how a neural network can help find more than 500 different jobs from around the world and how to create a resume. He also spoke about trends in the media, music industry, medicine, business, education and work, noting such benefits as advanced creativity, time saving, etc. One of the negative aspects of AI is the loss of basic skills and a high load on the computer, etc. 

At the end of the meeting, the participants were given the opportunity to ask questions and received an in-depth answer. We express our gratitude to the guest for the visit and an interesting seminar!
