On October 24-25, 2023 there were organized online lectures of Ambassador Dr. Suresh Babu and Maij Gen Sashi Asthana from New Delhi, in commemoration of Diplomatic Day and UN Day for the students and staff of AIU. The speakers talked about the importance of “Diplomacy”, in today’s world, emphasizing the significance of negotiations and sitting on the table for discussion for the peacebuilding process, as peace and harmony is the most important thing in today’s complicated world.

Also, they mentioned today's society’s needs in reducing agressions and saving the world from conflicts and motivating civil society to work for peace building activities, save the ecology, protect children and vulnerable populations. Besides, Gen. Dr. Asthana gave a very good overview of international relations and political developments in different parts of the world. How India and Kyrgyzstan are connected with each other. What are the prospects and opportunities between India and Kyrgyzstan. Also, he talked about the developments in the Central Asian Region (CAR) and how these CAR countries have been connected in different ways since history through the Silk Road connection with India. How the civilisational links are helping to make the relationship more stronger and friendly with India and with the Eurasian States.
