Associate Professor Nivedita Das Kundu participated in the ESCAS conference and workshop at KIMEP University in Almaty on September 21st, 2023. She gave a guest lecture at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, on September 22nd, 2023, on the topics of "Russia-Central Asia Relations'' and "Kazakhstan as SCO President." As Kazakhstan is this year holding the SCO presidency it was a significant discussion for the bachelor and masters students from different faculty at Al-Farabi Kazakh National University in Almaty, who all joined the discussion and lecture and were enthusiastic to know more on the topic of SCO. Besides, she met with the dean and faculty members of the university. Such interaction provided a great opportunity to introduce our university and attracted local and international students. Students from Bangladesh and Afghanistan showed interest to join Alatoo-International University in September, they also interacted separately to understand the possibilities of admission in September 2024 for the international students.
