Visit of the Ambassador of India to the Kyrgyz Republic to the AIU

 

On Wednesday 31 January, Ala-Too International University had the honor to host H.E. Ms. Lakshmanan Savithri, Indian Ambassador to the Kyrgyz Republic, within the framework of a lecture for students of the International Relations department. The main topic of discussion was “India-Kyrgyzstan Relations: Past and Prospects for the Future”. Her Excellency talked about the early formation of bilateral relations and further political and economic development among the states. Particular attention was paid to achieved goals and recent projects aimed to strengthen cooperation.
According to her Excellency, continued collaboration through regular engagement and exchange of ideas, views and opinion between these two states remains the key to any positive achievements in the country’s development.
There was also active discussion about the projects for the students launched by the Indian government. Students asked the questions they were interested. Ms. Lakshmanan Savithri not only presented an informative answered the question but also gave some useful suggestions to our students.
In addition, after a brief lecture, a meeting between the Ambassador and the Rector Sanzharbek Erdolatov was held to express gratitude to the guests.
